Finally got around to this!

So, I've had this account set up for literally, 2 years. Sad, I know. So, I finally decided to actually use it. I guess this is where we'll put alot of new things and what not. It's the Daniels page!
Jeff and I are doing all the wedding stuff. Well, my mom I guess I should say is doing it all. I've always been pretty laid back. So, needless to say, my indecisiveness is driving my mother mad. I picked the colors and told my younger sister, Hillary what to wear, got the engagement picturess all taken care of. I thought that was plenty of contributing...Ha, I guess not. I guess I'll be working on that!
Jeff is staying more than swamped with work. He is out to sea at the moment. I miss him, but he'll be home shortly. This is a test for when he is gone for almost 4 months, later this year. He's taken on the new position of "the training guy". Oddly, this happened after he got in trouble for something that usually he wouldn't get in trouble for, but you know how that goes, new guy! He tattled on him. So, Jeff had to give a presentation on what NOT to do. According to everyone, it was rather dumb. But, it's the Navy protecting their hineys. Needless to say, I think Jeff will enjoy his job alot more, being the boring training guy rather than the chemist and supervisor he is now.. I think that's what he is!
As far as my job, well. It's a world different from where I was before, which kind of disappoints me. But, on this "side of the water", there simply aren't the opportunities that there are in Seattle. I mean, you can commute but you spend so much more time away from your family and it costs more in the long run commuting. So, it's a catch 22.
But other than now living the difficult, yet manageable Navy life, things are good.
My youngest brother, Seth, left last with for the great MTC in Provo, Utah. (missionary training center) He has been called to the Boston, Massachusetts spanish speaking, mission. Funny, you don't think Boston would be that much latin in that area, but I guess there is enough where they need more spanish speaking elders. He was really working hard on his spanish before he left. My dads step mother is spanish, so she helped him a little as well as my father did. Being he's pretty much fluent in spanish and japanese. Seth has dylexia, so him learning a new language will be an interesting path way for him. He get's home almost 5 months exactly after his twin brother. I will miss Seth dearly, but i'm so proud of him for making the choices he has, cause it's only resulted in a wonderful, peaceful and cheerful Seth. He's very dedicated and I'm anxious to see him grow into a great, young man.
Cody, Seth's twin brother that is older by 50 minutes, is now in the greater Palm Springs area. (He's on his mission til the end of 2009.) We grew up not too far from there. We used to have to go to Palm Springs for Regional Confrence for church as a child. He said it's into the 90's in mid-March! How crazy is that?! He said he doesn't miss the cold, but he's not looking too much to the extreme heat. He went to school in Arizona, so he can acclimate quickly. he said the only things that bother him is the prideful people. He said it's almost the "holier than thou" attitude. But, he seems to be loving every minute. His e-mails are heart warming. We tend to have a "read Cody's letters" night at my parents house. Cody and Seth were born too early, so they have some learning things that they've been given the life challenge with. Cody is dyslexic as well. So, as he's still learning the pathways of spelling, we find some of the typos and misspellings to be amusing, simply because he's trying so hard to be correct on it. He doesn't care, he knows we still love him!
My youngest sister, Hillary has been telling EVERYONE at church and in the family after he rlong term boyfriend broke up with her, that she will be going on a mission as well. (the twins and hillary are 23, 23 and 21) However, I made her promise to be in attendance at my wedding because I needed at least one of my 6 siblings there! They're all off in far off places, and she's the last one that's "local". So, she'sll be in it, and then she is off as well. Can I just say, that this christmas is going to be different with my brothers and my sister all gone! This will be my first Christmas with only my parents and Leena and Jeff and the baby. But I applaud them for doing in what they believe. It's a huge learning experience as well.
I'll write another novel later!
