Helloooooo Spring Break!

We kicked off Leena's spring break with a trip to Point Defiance. We went last summer and it was fun! My buddy, Brian and his cute little family, live near by and met up with us there. They have a little boy, Logan, who's just a few months older than Leena Beena. After the shy barriers broke on each of their ends, they seemed to have fun. Leena is competitive, so I wasn't too shocked to see her have a "how long can you hold your breath" showdown later on! Here are some photos :)

Silly boys!

What? No Dory?!

Logan and Leena playing, I thought this was kinda cute.

All in all, it was a fun filled day. Everyone slept on the drive home! (which was maybe about 35 min?) I'd heard about Logan a bunch, but had not had a chance to ever meet him. He is probably just as energetic as Leena (YESSSSS!! Someone who can wear her out besides me!) and does what she does!! I had seen him do a few somersaults down a grassy hill...this is good. Leena does full on barrel rolls down hills, they were both doing it by the end of the day. And, I think they both left without any grass stains, even better! (They both has some sort of white on them) As we were leaving and saying good-bye, Logan nicely, and politely might I add! Asked when he could hang out with Leena next, and he suggested maybe they could have a sleep over, we all laughed. Kids are cute! Well Logan, you're welcome here anytime! As far as sleep overs....I don't think you'd want to sleep here. We sleep walk and only eat tofu, alll the time! I think you'd be bored!

WELCOME HOME SETHY-SETH-A-ROO!!!!!!!

HI SETHY!!!

That's my excited face!

Oh I've missed you so!! I'm glad you get to hang out with Mom and Dad though, much needed parental exposure :)

I can't wait for you to meet little Landon, he really is a sweet spirit, you'll love him as he's turning into a rough houser, already! Leena has braces, but she is cute and sparkly, even with a sinus infection in the works. She is a GOOD scripture reader, when you both go home to Seattle, she'll be at the house, you can read your daily scriptures with her! I know that she'll love it :)
(this is the most recent pictures of the kids, it's our family easter photo:))

I'm hoping your transition will go smoothly. I know Cody really had a hard time, hopefully with Mom and Dad there, it will ease things. And, you'll spend sometime in an area that has missionaries, perhaps you can go on splits with them, nothing wrong with making the Bermuda branch bigger! :)

This video reminded me of you, watch it and you'll understand, if not know all the words ;) No worries, it's a Kenneth Cope song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxpECovmdyY

I love you, Seth! WELCOME HOME, ELDER ELLEDGE!! Can't wait to give you a bug hug! And we'll keep you in our prayers :)

I forgot.

Landon J, is pretty dang close to walking! He's playing peek-a-boo on the other side of my laptop as I write this, and just tears across objects, like the coffee table, he'll circle it over and over. He's got his balance down, now the stepping thing is next. I think alot of his illnesses have slowed his development down, but I'm glad he's catching up! First it was words, now this! He's taken about 2 steps, so we'll see..

It's only a while before he gets up and sprints across teh room to answer his sisters cell phone....

AGH!! Too soon!!

Best Show EVER!

So during the superbowl, ads were airing for a show called "Uncdercover Boss", it's on CBS on Sunday nights. It makes CEO's of major companies, go under cover to the stores/restaurants or whatever type of business it is.

Some of the bosses are the nicest people! Oh my gosh! I will be DVR'ing this show every week!

Watch it!! http://www.cbs.com/primetime/undercover_boss/

It has been done.

Landon was in his highchair, stuffed full of breakfast goodness. I asked him "Do you want to get out?" and he shook his head firmly, NO! I thought, he probably doesn't have a clue as to what his head shake is, let alone that it means something. I go to get him out and he starts screaming at me. So I put him back down, and he's fine.

Ladies and gentlemen we have a concept of yes and no! Who'da thought?! Apparently 16.5 months is the month for understanding, this is good!

Eyes!

So, I had pink eye a few weeks ago. Umm, that was NOT fun. Having to always tell myself, don't touch your eye!! Here's a picture.

ICKY!

Blogging is best

As of yesterday, I am Facebook free! A few people really hit a nerve, and I was feeling genuinely picked on. And with that said, I reminded myself that I am almost 29 years old, I am NOT in high school anymore and I don't want to deal with it. A shame because I kept my account for the past 3 years, to see family members photos and to catch up with them, as well as my siblings, being that I'm not down and around the corner. I'm definately a good hour drive away.

So, this is the best way to keep up on what I'm doing. I have a twitter, I just don't ever log into it. I guess I'm not an avid tweeter as some famous people are.

Here's the latest Daniels happenings!

Landon is 16.5 mos, and he has a little walker that he LOOOOOOVES to push around, you can tell he feels like a big boy when he gets some serious speed. He says "Whee-o!" for wheel, he's a big fan of anything with wheels and cars. TOTAL BOY! We pretty much give him all table food, and we've taken him off of his iron, and oddly, he seems to be doing better that he's not on it 2 times a day. He's still a bit yellow, but we're used to it, it's when he's orange, is when we freak out. He's got 10 teeth now! Molars are coming in and we hear alot more loud noises from him biting things during dinner - too funny!

Leena is my little bike rider! YAY! Took 8 years but she can totally do it. She could do it a looong time ago, but she let her fear of falling and getting hurt, hold her back for a long time. She's rockin' in school, and is at middle school grade reading levels. GO LEENA! She's an avid bookworm. I got her the huge book of all the Chronicles of Narnia Series compiled into one, and I think she's on the last chapter of the lion, witch and the wardrobe. She's really good. She's also a math whiz we're discovering. Her parent teacher confrence was a few days ago, and the teacher suggested we start her on times tables because math just comes easy for her, like reading. (and it's a bonus that she happens to love science) and she sent a little paper home with leena with a website Leena can log into and practice times tables. We did that, after I hand wrote some out on paper as more harder subtraction with the borrowing and carrying, and she got it all! She missed only one! She's definately doing good in school. I'm proud of her, she's a hard worker and it shows in her work and her grades too.

Jeff, still busy recruiting. It seems like he's been home alot later this past few weeks. But, he does have to enlist one person a month and you'd be surprised at how much work just that 1 can take. He is trying to gain weight, so he's been running a few more miles each week and comes home and drinks a giant protein shake...ICK! But, I'm trying to talk him into taking a day off, the kids miss him you can tell. Landon won't want to take a nap, and so I go to lay him down and he yelles "DADADADADA!" Sorry bud, he's not here! So, hopefully we can get a good family day in to help the kiddies out with some quality time. And I know Jeff has earned a day off too, so it's much needed for everyone. OH! And Jeff starts school this month, he's a fw hours away from his associated, now I just have to talk him into getting his bachelors :)

Me, I got www.heididanielsphotography.com up and running. That was ALOT of work! It may not look like it, but it was micro details in everything. WHEW! Hopefully with that up and running, I can increase my clientel. Cross my fingers! I've been really tired lately, perhaps I need to go to bed at 8pm and get 12 hours of sleep? I'm not sure, but I think I see a light at the end of the tunnel. The kids and the chores of keeping a house clean, keep me busy as it is. But, I'll take a clean house over a messy one.
